Arabian Nights Show

Production requirements – please read carefully

Stage

A clear performance area of at least 4 meters (wide) by 3 meters (deep) if possible (must be clear of all band equipment, lecterns , leads etc) Stage must have center front stairs and side stairs at quick change side for access

Quick Change Area  - directly behind or beside the stage

This is separate from the main dressing room and is EXTREMELY important to us. It must be easily accessibly for very fast changes during the show. Must have a full length mirror, a clothes rack and a light

Sound

*PA to suit room size with operator and full effects rack
*One (1) CD player to be operated by sound engineer
* One (1) cordless, hand held microphone
* Fold-back speakers: these should be placed towards the outer front corners of the stage pointing  towards the center

Lighting

Programable lights with effects are best, however, our minimum requirements are:
One (1) Follow Spot wiht operator
Colour changeable lights for stage and dance floor
One (1) Follow Spot with operator 
Colour changeable lights for stage and dance floor  (best colours are purple, pink, aqua, blue, amber, green   )
Smoke effects

Sound Check

We will need about 1 hour  sound check and blocking time with operators present. This should be about 1 and a half hours before guests arrive 

Main Dressing Room and Rider

Good lighting & mirrors for makeup
table and chairs for 6 people
Dinner for 6 people directly after sound check - NO SEAFOOD PLEASE !!!!!
2 bottles white wine, soft drinks and bottled water

James Bond Show

Please read carefully!!

Sound

*PA to suit size of room and number of guests with operator & full effects rack
*1 singers hand held, cordless microphone
* 1 spare hand held cordless microphone
*1 CD player to be operated from the sound desk by sound engineer
* Stage monitors at outer front corners of the stage, facing in
 
Lighting

The more the better but minimum requirements are:
*One follow spot with operator (Please note that this is an essential!!!! )
*Programmable stage lights are much preferred for this show and I will send a
lighting sheet through to you closer to the date of the event
* Mirror ball
*Smoke machine (optional- not oil based please!!)
*A strobe light is also required for this show also

Quick Change Area

Separate to the main dressing room & extremely important !!! This should be a private, curtained off area directly behind or beside the stage for fast changes during the show.
Must have, lighting, clothes rack, full-length mirror, stairs and very quick access from the stage

Stage

*A clear workable stage area of at least 6m x 5m. (Bigger is better)
*Centre front stairs are essential

Sound Check

* We will need 1 hour for tech run, (about an hour and a half prior to guests arrival time.

Main Dressing Room, Means and Rider

Table and chairs for 5 people
Mirrors and good lighting for makeup
Clothes rack
2 bottles white wine, bottled water, soft drink, bread rolls and butter
Main meals for all performers straight after sound check –NO SEAFOOD PLEASE

Please read carefully

Stage

A clear performance area of 6 meters (wide) by 5 meters (deep) if possible
Wide center stairs
smaller stairs at the  side for entry to quick change area.

Quick Change Area

This is separate from the main dressing room and is very important to us.
Does not need to be very big for this show, but must be directly behind the stage and easily accessibly for a fast changes during the show.
Must have a mirror and a light.

Sound


* PA to suit room size with operator and full effects rack
*CD player  (to be operated from desk)
*Two (2) cordless, hand held  microphones  
*Two (2) microphone stands
*stage monitors should be placed at outer corners of the font of the stage facing in , not center front please!!!!

Lighting

Programmable lights are most definitely preferred for this show. In addition we need:
to (2) Follow Spots with operators
Please contact me immediately if this looks like being a problem as it may change our ability to perform this show!!!
Best colours for basic lighting are red, amber, dark blue, white , pink,  purple
Mirror ball
Smoke effects if possible (not oil based please)

Dressing Room

Table and 6 chairs
good lighting and mirrors for makeup,
bread-rolls and butter

Lighting

*ONE  follow spot with operator…. ( this is ESSENTIAL,) (Programmable lights or at least a good lighting desk and operator are needed for this show as mood changes are very  important between the Heaven and Hell sections. I will send a detailed lighting sheet through prior to date of event  if required)
* Lighting desk and operator.
* Lighting colours red, magenta, purple green , white, blue, pink, yellow
*
Smoke effects
*Mirror ball

Quick Change area – Extremely important !!!!!!

*This is separate to the main dressing room and must be directly behind of beside the stage for very fast costume changed during the show.

- This is separate from the main dressing room and MUST BE  be directly behind or beside the stage. Must be easily accessibly for very fast costume changes during the show.
- Must have a mirror, light and a clothes rack

Sound

*PA to suit room size, with operator and full effects rack
*CD player to be operated from the desk by the sound operator 
*Three (3) cordless, hand held  microphones 
*Foldback wedges placed at outer font corners of the stage facing in, (not accross the front please) ,

Lighting

TWO (2 ) Follow Spots with operators  (very important)
Please call us ASAP  if this even looks like being a problem!!!!!!!!!.
Programmable lights are preferred if possible  and a specific lighting list will be sent through separately closer to the date of the show. Otherwise

This show work best with programmable and moving lights. I will send a detailed lighting list prior to the show

Please do not overlook this and call us if it even MIGHT  be a problem.
* Nice lighting on the stage and dance-floor,

* chicken and salad if possible or the main mean for the event

A cleared stage or area (with stairs if elevated)
If required, Nikki can also perform a floorshow with no stage area but please advise me of this ASAP as a follow spot then becomes extremely important.

Sound

* CD player (to be operated from desk)
*One (1) cordless, hand held microphone
If the area requires fold-back monitors, please place them at the sides pf the performance area pointing in.

Lighting
A small follow spot with operator  is generally required if at all possible
Also, nice lighting on the stage area,  or ceiling etc.
The main thing is that the room looks different during the show than it does for the rest of the evening
House lights should be off or dimmed
